Question
I HAVE A PENSION FROM IBM 111 DOLLARS A MONTH FOR LIFE

FIRST, CAN I GET A LUMP SUM PAYMENT FROM IBM IF I CAN HOW?

SECOND, IF I CAN HOW CAN I INVEST THIS SMALL AMOUNT IN A RETIREMENT PLAN

Answer
You would have to check with the plan administrator on whether you can elect a lump sum. It may be possible if payments have not begun. However, if you are receiving checks, it is probably too late.
As far as how you can invest the lump sum, this is not my area of expertise. You would have to discuss with a financial planner.
