Accounting, Payroll & Pension Issues/Moving and compensation

Question
When moving a company and all employees, about 20 people, what expenses typically should a company cover?
Besides travel, is it customary for a company to pick up first, last, and security for renters - or closing costs for homeowners.

Is there anything I may have overlooked?

Thank You

Answer
That is the very tip of the iceberg. Get a relocation expert, usually within real estate companies. You have a million HR issues.

Where are the people going to live? Spouse and children's issues about their job and schools. Trips to the new location for house hunting. Moving expenses which can include transporting motor vehicles.

A lot of what you will do depends on how important the person is and if there suitable repleacements. Which opens up the question of severence. Important ig you want an orderly transfer.

Good luck.
