Question
My husband and I will be registering our cabinet making business shortly.  He is currently the bread winner of the family and will be keeping his job, so would we benefit more tax wise if we registered the company under his name, my name or joint?  Thanks for your time.

Answer
Their maybe an advantage to having it in your name for being classified as a women owned business. There is no clear tax reason for that way over the others.

Check out your local small business development center to find out about any state or local programs that you could use.
