Accounting, Payroll & Pension Issues/Vested in preiose employment

Question
I need to find out how to reach my previous employer that I was vested in back in 1975.  What age do you have to be to draw from your vested employer?

Answer
Don't know how you can contact your previous employer. One suggestion - try a search on google.

As far as what age you need to be to collect benefits - it all depends on the terms of the plan. So there is no simple answer.

One thing that may help you. If the company did things correctly, they would have filed a form which went to the Social Security Administration. If this was done, when you apply for Social Security benefits you should receive a notice telling you about the benefit. Social Security won't be able to help you get your benefit. However the notice may give you some information you can follow up on.

Good luck.
