Accounting, Payroll & Pension Issues - What do I do with this money

Expert: Ed McFarland - 11/19/2007

Question
I am 65, still working part time for a man who has passed on, and has left me with money. It has been almost 6 months and they are ready to disburse monies from the estate. What do I do with it?

Answer
I'm assuming that this is a distribution from the estate.

Given that you are still working, the questions I have are how much, what's your situation and from that what your options can be.

If anybody tells you to do anything else with it other than to park in money market account while you sort this out is irresponsible.

Give me some details and I can offer some suggestions.

Good luck
