I would like to know if there is any way to move the money that is in my pension. I worked 17 yrs in the union BCTGM AFL-CIO UNTIL 2000 and just want to know if i can put that money elsewhere?

There is no general answer to your question. The answer depends on the terms of your plan. I would check the Summary Plan Description that should have been given to you when you became a participant. If you can't locate it, I would contact the plan administrator and ask him/her. The name and address of the plan administrator should be on the Summary Annual Report which you receive each year.
