Question
I am in Intermediate Accounting 2 and learning about Pension Plan accounting.

I have reread the chapter a million times but need more examples worked out to be able to follow all the information.

Do you know of a good source of pension calculation examples?  There are good homework problems but there are not detailed enough examples of how to work out all the various possibilties.

Check out a site like www.plansponsor.com and look for links, google defined benefit plans (pension plans real name), you should get some real world examples.

The Department of Labor is responsbile for protecting employee pensions and has some calculators.
