Question
I was thinking of setting the date for an outdoor wedding on October 3, 2008 in Dallas, Oregon 15 miles from Salem, Oregon.  Is that going to be a good weekend or is there a better one?

Answer
Shar,

There is no way to tell this far in advance what the exact weather will be that weekend. However, I can give you some climatology.

The normal high for that time of year is close to 70, and the normal low is about 44.

The record high temperatures in early October are in the low 90s, and the record low temperatures are near freezing.

In early October, it generally rains about once every three or four days.

I hope this helped.

Sincerely,

Dave Dombek
