Question
I'm hesistant to set my wedding date on October 20th down by the bay (San Diego CA) for fear it will be too cold by then.  Would it be wiser to set it for September 30th or October 20th for 2009 based on the weather charts?   I am only considering October 20th to have more time to plan the wedding.  Thank you!

Answer
Michelle,

On October 20th, the normal high temperature in San Diego is 74, and the normal low temperature is 60. The record high temperature for that date is 95, set in 1964, and the record low is 46, set in 1949.

For September 30th, here are the temperature stats...
Normals: 76/64
Records: 91 - 1906
        51 - 1980

As you can see, there really isn't that big of a difference between the two dates. So, the call is yours!

Hopefully, this helped.

Sincerely,

Dave Dombek
