Question
Hi!  I'm planning a wedding for September 23rd, 2011 in Baton Rouge, LA (70803) and it's going to be outdoors (hopefully!).  Can you tell me what the history/predictions are for this day?  Highs/lows and rain?

Thanks so much!

Krista

Answer
Krista,

The normal high temperature in Baton Rouge, LA on September 23rd is 86, and the normal low temperature is 66. The all-time hottest temperature on record for that date is 102, set in 1921. The coolest on record for that date is 48 degrees, set in 1999.
Typically in the month of September, it rains about once every three or four days. However, the wild card at that time of year is the tropics. If there is a tropical storm or hurricane, then all bets are off as to how wet it can become. If there are no tropical storms or hurricanes, then it can be considerably drier than normal.
I hope this helped!

Sincerely,

Dave Dombek
