Hi there! I was wondering if you could please help me determine what the weather will be like for my wedding on September 23, 2011 in Sarasota, FL. Would really really appreciate your help!

Hi Lindsey,

There is no way to know for sure what will happen weather wise on September 23rd of this year. However, I can give you normals and records for that date.

Here goes...

The normal high at that time of year is about 88, and the normal low is 73.
The record high is 93, set just last year, and the record low is 59, set in 1897.
September is generally a fairly wet month, with an average of over 6.5" of rain. However, much of that will often occur in a few events that bring a substantial amount of rain, with stretches of three or four days in between with little or no rain. Barring any hurricanes or tropical storms, which can certainly occur at that time of year, late September is a nice time of year for a wedding.
