Question
Can you tell me the average air temperature leaving from San Francisco to Hawaii on Oct. 1st?

Answer
Mary Jo,

The average high temperature in San Fransisco on October 1st is 72, and the normal low is 54. It stays that way for almost the first week of October, and then just gradually drops from there.

In Hawaii, the normal high temperature on October 1st is in the upper 80s, with a normal low in the mid 70s (88/74). That temperature changes very little during the first half of the month.

Over the water, the average temperatures will be in between the two end points...warmer the closer to HI you get and cooler the closer to CA you are.

Keep in mind that these are AVERAGE or NORMAL temperatures. The ACTUAL temperatures can vary somewhat, depending on the weather pattern at the time.

I hope this helps!

Sincerely,

Dave Dombek
