Question
I am getting married on Saturday September 10th, 2011 in Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972. I am trying to get an idea on the weather forecasted for that day as I am planning on an outside wedding. I could change it to a different area but it will be tough. So I was looking for a little reassurance on the matter. Dose anyone have any ideas? Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

There is no way that I can give you an accurate forecast for September 10th this far away. However, I can give you some details on the normals and records at that time of year.
The normal high temperature on that day is about 77 and the normal low is 56. The record high temperature for the date is in the upper 90s, and the record low temperature is in the upper 30s to near 40. Barring any rain from a tropical storm or hurricane, September tends to be a rather dry time of the year with rain occurring once every three or four days.

Dave received his B.S. degree in meteorology from the Pennsylvania State University in May of 1980. An avid outdoorsman, Dave enjoys hunting and trout fishing. He also enjoys watching football and is a student of history and current events. If Dave doesn't already have enough on his plate, he is married with two teenage daughters. He also leads a small Messianic congregation in the State College, Pa. area.
