Accuweather/Coming to Orlando in July

Question
I just wanted to know if you think this July is going to be rainy because that is the only time my husband and I can get off from work and that's when we are coming....thank you!

Answer
Julie,

Unfortunately, July is climatologically the wettest month of the year in Orlando. Normal rainfall is highest in July than the other summer months. Typically, there are thunderstorms scattered around that area almost every day. It is certainly not a guarantee that it will rain every day, but there will at least be some thunderstorms in the vicinity that pop up because it is hot and humid. The good thing about summertime thunderstorms in Florida is that while they can definitely put down a lot of rain in a short period of time with torrential downpours, they generally don't last very long. There are many summer days in Florida that are rainfree for 95-99 percent of the time, but there is an almost constant threat of a thunderstorm.
I hope this helped!

Sincerely,
