Question
Dave: What are the General Times AM and PM, for Early Mornings,Mid-Morning and Late Morning. And Early, Mid, and Late Afernoons? And is Evening considered Late afternoon?

Ron

Answer
Ron,

I'm not exactly sure I understand your question, but the times you had mentioned are more or less subjective. In other words, different people will have different perceptions of what they mean. I consider early morning to be 5 or 6 am to 8 am. Mid morning is 8-10 am. Late morning is 9:30 or 10 am to noon. Early pm is noon to 2 pm, mid afternoon is 2-4 pm, and late afternoon is 3:30 or 4 pm on. However, in the short days of November, December, and January, late afternoon can be as early as 2:30 pm. Evening is pushed later when the days are long, and starts later. When the days are short, then evening can be as early as 4 pm.
I hope this helped.

Sincerely,
