Question I have a 1980 Alvarez 5022 Acoustic Guitar in great condition. I was wondering what the value of it is now. Can you help???
Answer Hey Luke,
In my opinion, the best way to get a value is to go on Ebay, and try to find a guitar exactly like yours and see what it's going for. You can also look it up in the blue book of acoustics. If you don't have one and don't feel like dishing out $35 for one, you can go to a pawn shop with the guitar and ask them to look it up for you. Make sure they show you how much it is in the book though, because pawn shops are notorious for telling you a lower value in the hopes that their offer will seem more appealing. I'm sorry I can't help you further, as I don't have a Blue Book myself. I hope this helps you out. Thank you for your question.
