Question
QUESTION: The serial number of the Y80 K. Yairi that I have is 311797. The label round, black with white lettering. On the perimeter it reads "International Prise winning Classical Guitar". The body is a full size classical with a 650 mm string length, but the depth of the guitar body is 3.5" at both the upper and lower bout. Any information such as year would be appreciated. Thanks

ANSWER: The year model of this guitar is a 1991, but that is as much info I could find on the guitar. I'll continue to do some research on this guitar and get back with you if I can find anything else. thank you for your question John. -Wes

QUESTION: Where did you find the dating information?

ANSWER: You can Google "Yairi serial number dating" and in one of the results, I entered your serial number and the information came up.

QUESTION: I'm sorry, but that can't be correct, since I have owned this guitar since the late 70's, and it was used when I bought it. It is not an Alvarez Yairi. It is a K. Yairi, and it has to  be at least 30 years old.

Answer
I'm sorry. I got that part wrong when I was looking it up. My fault. I'll try to Blue Book it if I can and get back to you on a true date. I'm truelly sorry John.
-Wes

I'm truelly sorry, but I can't find any information on a K. Yairi. I'll keep looking though.
