I have an electric squire bullet strat its about 12 months old, It doesn't sound very good it's almost sounding sick lol :), I've had the strings changed but it made no difference its mainly the G string that's having trouble tuning and it goes out of tune within a night.
Do you know what could be wrong with it?
Thanks

Answer Your tuners may be worn out. You may need to change either the set or that particular one. Depending on how much you're looking to spend. Tuners aren't very expensive though. That should be about all that's wrong as far as it not staying in tune.
The crappy sound could be coming from a bad signal path, or a cheap pickup, or possibly a bad sounding amp. You could change pickups. As far as personal preference, I think Lace Sensors sound the best in a strat, but it's all personal preference.
I hope this helps you out. If you need anything else, or this doesn't work, let me know and I'll look into it some more.
