Question
hi,

i have asked you about acoustic guitars before.  i have been trying to self teach myself via youtube.  i am now learning this taio cruz -dynamite song:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KUA6fc_m1Zg

this guy is really good in teaching, he makes it easy and fun.  however, if you play at the 9-10 sec mark, there is that transition-blur (twirly sound as i call it) that i cannot figure out on my own.  he didnt cover it in this video lesson unfortunately, but the "twirly" sounds really good.  are you able to dissect what he did there? it looks like a C to an Am in one down strum, but when i tried it, mine was blah lol.

thx for your time

Answer
Hi Wo,

It looks like he's doing a hammer-on (twirly, as you called it) an A7 form at 9 sec, (could be a C# though) then goes to C at 10 sec. He doesn't repeat that move for the rest of the video, so my guess is that one little deviation was an improvised hammer-on that me did without realizing it. However, it doesn't seem that he is trying to teach you that particular move since he doesn't mention it anytime in the video.

Even slowing the video down, it was difficult for me to make a definitive choice as to what change he was making.

I would advise you to post your question on the video page and see if he will answer you.
