Acoustic Guitars/broken bridge on Alvarez 12 string

Question
Hello,

I have a Alvarez 12 string acoustic/electric guitar model rd20s12.  The bridge has a crack in it and I was wonder how to replace it.

Thanks.

Answer
Hi Dave,

Replacing a bridge on any guitar is not a job for an inexperienced person. It requires heating/steaming off the existing bridge, cleaning the area of old glue, re-positioning the new bridge, and using special clamps to apply even pressure while the glue dries.

You need to take your guitar to a trusted Luthier and ask them to do the work for you.
