Acoustic Guitars/First Acoustic Guitar

Question
I am looking for my first guitar at aged 16. I was wondering if you could recommend a good guitar for beginners?

Thanks.

Answer
Hi Ryan,

Since you are in the UK and I am in the US, I am not sure what manufactures you have over there. So, I would suggest one of the major manufacturers entry level guitars.

An Epiphone PR-4E is a good starter. So is one of the lower priced Yamaha's.

Not sure if you have these over there but the entry level Breedlove has an excellent tone and very economically priced.

My first was the Epiphone PR-4E. It was very inexpensive and since I was just starting out, I didn't want to pay too much just in case it ended up that playing the guitar wasn't for me.

I still have it and play it often.
