Question Need value of an acoustic guitar do not know the maker but number is L1794N4.
Answer
There is no way for me to give a value for this guitar.. Without seeing it, and knowing more about it. The number means little without knowing where this number is located on the guitar, and what it represents, is it the model number, serial number, perhaps it's just a random number. And even then, it still could mean nothing.. Alvarez serial numbers mean nothing, unless it's a Yairi.. How old is it? Do you know anything about this guitar? Can you send me pictures? Even then,, guitars with no maker marks, no way of telling who made them, and with no history at all have no value. By that I mean, at most you could get around $100 for it, unless it's in less than decent shape, in which case you could get maybe $50...
If you can get me more information, and pictures I can probably get you an estimated value.. I do not do appraisals though, any value I give is merely what some similar guitars have sold for recently... So, I hope that helps.. If you want a true appraisal, find a local shop that does insurance appraisals. Whatever the insurance value is, divide that by 2.4 and that will give you the true resale value of the guitar...
