Question i have been wanting to ask someone this question but no one can answer... how good exactly is the guy in this video clip? http://youtube.com/watch?v=Fh8JPm_Ll2s
this is a japanese singer/guitar player... he does a lot of rock... but im only interested in the acustic part
would it be very difficult to reach that level? (i aspire for this level but im not so sure)
Answer
This kid is pretty good, considering his age... but not Extrodinary... This level is not only attainable, but actually very easily attainable... The chords used are not that difficult, and the rhythmic pattern is pretty common rock and roll... How much experience do you have on the guitar? I mean, do you know your scales? Are you a beginner? There is a couple websites I would like you to check out to help get you advancing, one is http://guitarnoise.com the other is http://folkofthewood.com both have great online lessons, that will help you, no matter how far along you are, The thing is, no matter how far you get, you'll never be satisfied.. thus us the ever agonizing world of the guitarist.. hahaha.. But, this should be easy for you to learn... get a nice chord chart, and watch the video a few times, you can easily pick out the chords he's playing.. Then you can start working on the rhythm of it.. and your all set..
