Subject: value of Lowden 035

Question
Dear Bud, I have a beautiful Lowden 035 with sitka top and quilted maple back and sides. the soundhole has abalone inlay.I own two others which I have played to death but I have never played this one- it's to pretty- I thought I would just keep it for a parlor piece when I was an old man but I seem to gotten a second wind and somehow talked myself into buying ANOTHEr electric (Gibson Firebird)for working with the band on the weekends (as if that will ever pay for itself !)anyway I was just wondering what you thought the Lowden would be worth and whether I should hold on to it or let it go (your approximation of appreciation).

Answer
Hello, you have a very nice guitar if you have a lowden there great guitars. If I were to give an amount on it's value I would say it's somewhere between 3000 to 5000 dollars. This is just a guess but I am confident in it. So I would hold on to it. Thanks, let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
