Question Thank you for your answer, I will be asking about an MRI to find out if its Menieres or AN. Should I ask about he MRI with contrast, or is that standard procedure? I have an appointment next month with a Neurologist.
Answer Gadolinium must be specified on the MRI order. Also, the scan should not be a brain scan only, but must specify brain/brainstem/internal auditory canals. Usually thin cuts (3mm) are done through the internal auditory canals.
