Question
I love to sing, and I love to act. Every spring, my school has a spring musical, and i would LOVE to audition, my dream...broadway. However...my voice is...pretty bad. My range is decent, and i can hold notes, the problem is to make it sound good..is there anything I can do?

Answer
Look into coaching with a local voice teacher.  They can help you prepare a song for an audition.
I also would reccomend going to the director and asking him or her what they are looking for.
What musical is it?
How are you acting and dancing skills.
It is a misperception in music theatre that all performers/roles need be "triple threat" (singing dancing acting)  Few do, but most have an emphasis in one or two, so it is likely to find a role that would suit you.
Do you get to choose your audition song or is the school going to provide one for you?
Let me know and I would be happy to further assist you!
