Acting in Plays, Singing/College auditions

Question
Hi!
I'm a high school senior prepping for auditions for scholarships at several liberal arts colleges.  I have a little bit of acting experience, mostly supporting roles in school productions.  Because I'm so limited, I'm having a hard time finding monologues that are more mature and not from generic audition monologue books. Any advice?

Answer
Don't worry about the quality or maturing of your monologue.  Do something you can connect with, and don't worry if its from a generic audition book.  You will do your absolute best if its material you can connect with.  That's really the only advice I can give.  The only way to really build up a storehouse of monologue knowledge is by attending and reading plays.
