Hi i am a 13 year old girl who has been singing for about 7 years and it is hard for me to find a singing audition in my town beacon N.Y and i was wondering if you could help me or something

Hi there, Jasmine...And thanks for writing.  

I do not know the area of Beacon, New York.  But if you could find a voice teacher or a voice coach or a choir teacher or a choir coach or a musical director - some sort of professional that works in the music - you may be able to find opportunities.  

The best way to find these kinds of professionals is to google the name of the town and the profession you are looking for.  For e.g. Beacon, New York voice teachers.  

Another way to find them is to ask music teachers and the like in your school.  

Another way is to look in your local yellow pages.  

Another way is to phone your local theatres and see if you can find out through them.  

All of these are good ways to track these kinds of individuals down.  I would recommend trying all of these methods.  

Once you have the names and numbers of some people, then call them and ask them for information on auditions and see what they say.  

The key is that you are willing to do this research and that you are persistent - that you don't give up.  Keep working at finding the information until you find it.
