Question
I have a question what kind of tenor am I if I can hit a5 and g5 and I can sing whistle notes like C6. I have been singing for a while I have a singing software and when sing it tells me what octave and note I am singing. So I am confused. I don't get strained singing that high and I don't use falsetto. I use falsetto when I am singing in the 6 octave.

Answer
Hi there, Marcquise.  Thanks for writing.

What do you mean by what kind of tenor?  It's a good question.  However, I don't think that it matters what kind of tenor you are.  You know you are a tenor and that is what matters.  Knowing your range is the most important thing to know.  How low can you go and how high?

It sounds like you have quite a wide range which is great.

Does that help you?
