Whenever possible, sing another song by the same composer from a different show. Whatever material you choose for your audition, push the agenda of the character you want through your presentation.
Consider any of the following:
Where You’re Good To Mama – CHICAGO

The Grass Is Always Greener – WOMAN OF THE YEAR (also, And The World Goes 'Round)
