Dear friend:
From Venezuela I wanted to thank you for your kind help.I need to know if I have to push my diaphragm downward or upward while talking. If I get costumed to push the air as if I were pushing the belt it means that I should continuing pushing in the same way, is it effective?

The main idea is to be pushing the diaphragm down at the same time you're pushing air up through your relaxed larynx. Eventually, the air will be pushed up *by* the diaphragm. This is where your power should come, instead of from tensed vocal chords (which is why you get hoarse).
