I'm in eighth grade and i have strawberry blond hair and freckles as far as singing I'm a mezzo and i can go from a F to a high F and i have a pretty strong belt. i need a really good audition song due to other good singers intrested  in the role. any help would be grate thanks so much  :)

Answer
Hi there, Taylor...And thanks for writing.

Congrats on trying out for the play.

There are a few ways that you can find a song:
1.  Go to the library and look in the musical section for the mezzo songs.  Listen to the songs until you find one that you like.
2.  Think about any musicals that you love and take a song from there.
3.  Talk to a choir teacher or vocal coach about helping you find a song.  They know you better than I do and can help find a song that is fitting to you as a person and a singer.

It's important that the song is not only in your range but that you can relate to it and understand it.

Does that help you?
