Question
I'm participating in the Miss. Placentia Pageant and am having a hard time
picking a song for my talent.  In past years I have done Splish Splash and I enjoy
being a girl.  I really want something fun and upbeat preferably from a musical.  I
am trying to stay away from Legally Blonde Hairspray and Wicked because they
are so current.  I am a soprano/mezzo-soprano.  Any ideas?

Congrats on the pageant.   

Something from Gigi is always fun.  That is what came to mind first.

Another option for you would be to go to your local library and look under soprano and/or mezzo soprano musical songs.  You should be able to find lots to listen to and choose from.
