how can i become a  american singer i sing in school and act but im always told im good enough to become famous but how?

If you are getting this 2x, I apologize.  It is just that I was sure that I had answered your question and now it appears once again.  So here it goes from the 2nd try.  Hopefully this will work.

It's great that you are told that you are good.  That's a great beginning.  Could you give up being famous though?  The reason I ask is that it is essential that you are realistic about this.  Few people become famous internationally.  There is usually local, regional or national fame.  But rarely does it become international.  Therefore, fame is a poor reason to do anything.  I am not saying that you will not.  What I am saying is that having fame as your reason for doing anything could lead you into great despair and disappointment.  In addition, fame carries with it so many responsibilities I hear.  For e.g. Sandra Bullock - she is an internationally acclaimed actress.  She got her 1st Oscar the other night.  I was so excited for her because her performance in "The Blind Side" was incredible and deserving.  Did you know though that she is constantly reminded and hassled over the movies she has been in that have not done well?  That's part of what fame can bring.  

So what is your reason for wanting to sing?  Why would you want to do this?  

And where could you begin to show your talents?  How could you and where could you perform?
