(Approx.) How many lines does Lina Lamont have in Broadway version of Singin' in the Rain?

I am considering auditioning for the role of Lina Lamont in my school's production of Singin' in the Rain, but I am wondering how many lines I would have to memorize if I get the role. Any idea?

I hope you do audition.  That is a wonderful plan.  I encourage you to go through it.

Lina's role is significant in the show.  She is a supporting role, however, and so would not have as many lines as others.  Nevertheless, it is an essential role to the telling of this story.  She is the antagonist and creates some of the main conflict of the story and musical.   She makes it interesting.

When you ask me about the number of lines, it sounds like you are worried about this.  Is this right?  There are things you can do to help you with the lines and so I would encourage you to audition even if you have anxiety.
