Acting in Plays, Singing/Comedic Monologue Help

Question
Hi there!

I am participating in a cabaret-style show with each of us performing monologues on certain themes.  My assigned theme is sexual intercourse.  I have been looking for a comedic female monologue focused on sex (another girl is doing something from Dead Man's Cell Phone by Sarah Ruhl--I SO wish I could do something from The Vibrator play but it's not out until October boo), but have been having trouble finding much of anything.  If you have any specific suggestions (age range 20s) that would be fabulous, but any general plays would be good too.  No Vagina Monologues please.  Thank you SO much! :)

Answer
Just because In The Next Room isn't available from Amazon doesn't mean you can't do a monologue from it - have you checked online to see if there are any monologues posted?  I noticed YouTube has some excerpts from professional productions of the play - you might look around.  Also, check out other plays by Sarah Ruhl, or Lisa Loomer.  Check out some of the monologues in Eve Ensler's Good Body - some good stuff about sex and body image.

Good luck!
