Question
CAN U PLEAZ TELL ME WHAT AND HOW TO FIND A GOOD DRAMMA MONOLOGUE ONLINE. THANKS

- SAMANTHA LONG

Answer
Hi there, Samantha...Have you googled monologues for females?  There are all sorts of them that you can find that way.

When you google and start to read your search results, look for a monologue that:
*You can understand.
*You can identify with - as in there is something about the monologue that you can also see in yourself.
*You like.
*Shows your talent and challenges you.
*Is within the time limits and the other limits of the audition.  Usually you are always safe with a 1-2 minute monologue.

Just read until you find one.

Another way is to recall a play that you love and find a monologue in there by googling "monologue from (title)".  You might get some hits this way.  Not sure if this is the best way to go about it.  This works better if you go to the library.

Outside of online:
Another way is to ask a drama or theatre professor about some ideas for you.

And still another is to go to the library and read.
