Question
hello there. I am trying out for my school's musical and i need help picking an audition song. I have been to librarys and asked the director. i really havent found anything that suits my voice. I don't have a really strong voice and i am a mezzo-soprano. I really want an upbeat song if possible. Please help!!

Your next step is to find a local vocal coach or voice teacher who have both the ability to show you some musicals from their library and whose expertise helps them define what will work for your level of experience.

I would also recommend looking at an alto song if you are not a strong mezzo soprano.  

Here are some possible musicals (I hesitate to tell you these as I don't know you nor have I heard you sing nor do I know what you look like or how you perform.  But since you have been to the library and have been working on this for a bit, here are some ideas:)

*White Christmas

These might also lead you to others.
