Question
I can sing F below middle C (sometimes a third below that)to C# or D and octave above Tenor C.I can hardly sing any guy song comfortably and me and my friends want to start a group. when i sing comfortably im singing alto. I sing better with girls as the alto or above a girl. i dont have strength in my lower ranges. do u think it would be ok to sing with guys.

Hi Jonny...Thanks for the question.  Although I believe that I would get the advice of a vocal coach as well, here are my thoughts:

It sounds like you are a tenor.  You will probably do well to sing with the guys.  More than likely you will do best as the lead vocalist or the 2nd.  

I would say that it is important that you try to sing with the guys.  Any experience is good experience.  If you are having trouble, get some advice from a vocal coach.  Maybe have them come to a rehearsal that the guys are having to give you some help.
