Hi!

I have a couple of questions about The Rock (with Nicholas Cage and Sean Connery).

1) I've seen the movie a long time ago and have just found out that Micheal Biehn is in it. However, I can't seem to recall who he was playing. Do you have any ideas? Was he on the good side (the guys sent with Cage and Connery) or among Harris's men? Also, do you know of a good movie featuring Biehn that is worth watching (besides Terminator)?

2) Do you know the names of all the actors that played Harris's man? I'm specially looking for the guy who reluctantly agreed to betray Harris (I'm not sure, but I think he's the one who tells Harris to put the phone down when the latter decides to cancel the ransom).

Sorry for questions about such an old movie, but listening to its soundtrack has made me a big fan of the movie. The scene where Harris's men kill the guys with Cage and Harris has been haunting me for days; I think I'm going to get the DVD!!

 Thank you for your question. It's great to get one about one of my favorite movies.

 Michael Biehn played Commander Anderson. He was the Navy SEAL commander on the "good guys" side. He was the one who led Sean Connery and Nicolas Cage into The Rock.

 For some other great Michael Biehn movies, check out Aliens, The Abyss, and my personal favorite, Tombstone.

 The character who has second thoughts about the mission is Major Tom Baxter, played by David Morse. The scene you are referring to is below:

General Hummel: Put the phone down.
Major Tom Baxter: I'm calling them Frank, I'm asking for more time.
General Hummel: You're being asked by a friend.
[Baxter continues.]
General Hummel: You're being ordered by a superior officer!
[Baxter carries on, Hummell draws.]
General Hummel: Now you're being given your last chance by a man with a gun.

 I, too, love this movie. The shower room scene where General Hummel has the Navy SEAL's trapped is an amazing scene. The soundtrack is awesome. It's great to hear someone else out there loves it as much as I do.
