Question i read in a book that was published in 97, that the british secret service was formally known as mi6, yet in the recent films it's still refered to as mi6.
What can you tell me about mi6 currently and how accuratley is it portrayed in the movies, with M. being a female and all?
Also, whens the next film coming out, i heard colin farrel was going to be the next bond, is that true?

I'm not real sure about the mi6 issue. As far as I know, I still hear mi6 myself. There is not set in stone details about the next Bond film either. Colin Farrel was in the running, as was a handful of other people. Colin Firth, Clive Owen, Dougray Scott, and Australian Julian McMahon. I am hearing more buzz about McMahon here lately. It is very doubtful it will be Colin. I am hearing rumors that the next Bond film could be a serious remake of "Casino Royale", although personally, I hope not. Ever since Pierce was let go, I haven't been too excited. Seeing him at the Oscars and the Baftas in the tux and all puts the other contenders to shame. I wished he was behind the wheel of the Aston Martin again. But as of now, there has been no replacement announced. Thanks for writing.
