Action Adventure Movies - star wars

Question
I heard that Mark Hamill was the only cast member to know the line, "I am your Father" and that the Darth actor said something completely different, such as "I just ate a 2 &  half pound cheeseburger" and Mark was to overreact in shock to that line because they wanted to keep the I am a father line a secret.  That sounds too far fetched to me. Why wouldn't the cast know the line.  Big deal! Got any evidence that my source of info in this case is a lunatic?

Answer
Well, I certainly have never heard that story before...We have seen how secretive they are about the latest Star Wars movies, but I wasn't alive when the first ones came out. It could be, because the actor playing Darth Vader wasn't his voice, so he didn't HAVE to deliver the correct line. I guess you never know. But I really see no reason why they would hide it from the cast. And besides, even if it were true, Mark Hamill would not have been the only cast member who knew. James Earl Jones would have also known it, cause he said it! At least you've got something to tell your "source". :D

Sorry I couldn't help you out more. But you can still tell your source that an "expert" said that it isnt true. So you can still call him/her a lunatic.
