why can,t i find or buy joes that they used to make few years back they were 12 in tall my daughters used them with their barbie dolls even went to hasbro did they stop making them all you get are the 6 in ones now

Unfortunately, I'm not a 12" G.I. Joe expert.

I did a bit of research, however, and I think you're talking about the 12" Classic Collection that ran from 95' to 04'. Do you happen to remember any of the figures in more detail? Do you know if they were 'named' figures - as in having code-names, or rather were generics such as 'coast guard' and such?

Hasbro did stop producing this line in 2004, and, as you say, they can only be purchased in 6-in-1 packs now.

The other possibility might be the "A Real American Hero" line that ran from 02' to 05'. This line was based on the named characters rather then generic ones.

At the moment, in stores, your choices are pretty limited. You might luck out and find a figure you don't have here and there - especially in Toys R' Us and Target, but your best bet is definitely the internet. If you use bay, you can find just about any figure you could wish for on there with some patience.
