Question Hi,I recently bought a hell boy 13" made by Eric So X.It was limited to 999 pieces, and was signed and # by Eric So and the creator of hell boy Mike Mignola. On the one i own it's not # at the bottom, and the card that comes with it has Eric so's signature, but not mike's.The guy i bought it from didn't know anything about it and assumed it might be an artists proof. Now i ask you, what is it? I don't have any more info, and the card really doesn't say.
Answer Normally I can't answer collector's questions, but on this piece, it came out when I was doing the Ron English "Rabbbit" for Dark Horse. At SDCC, Tower recrods had some of these, and they weren't numbered, and I think they weren't all signed. So this is probably a Tower Records one. On the artist proofs I do, it is always marked, and always some special to it, not missing signatures, etc. I kind of started the Artist Proof thing with Ron English Supersize Me, and then started the Bronze/brass with the mid-sized supersize me, and these always had something extra, or clearly marked.
Thanks
