1. What do people preserved any way?
Depends on why the person collects in the first place. Sometimes its just a hobby - maybe just the joy of finding the item and owning it as part of a set. Others do it for the fact that actions figure collecting can be a profitable hobby. The better the condition of the item, the more its worth. As time goes buy, an action figure can become more and more valuable - as it becomes rare. Another good reason to preserve figures well!
