Action Figures/Iron Man figure value

Question
Hi I have a question regarding the series of Iron Man 6 inch figures from the first movie. Im only 2 figures short from having the entire collection, I'm curious about something, I only have one figure with its package slightly damaged at the top and this one is considered rare and hard to find. Would this figure STILL be considered of future value as long as it remains sealed despite the slight damage at the top of the packaging?

Answer
Action figures are all about Demand vs Availablity. If your the only person with a full collection in the future, your figures will still be valuable in the future. For example. Certain he-man figures, etc (with no box) are still worth a mint, because you just can't get them anywhere (boxed or not).
Sunlight, moisture and air will also degrade the packaging over time (even in as little as 2 years). So be careful of that.

I dont think you should worry too much about a little nick in the package.

i have one of the largest xena/hercules action figure collections. Including "one of a kinds" (action figure prototypes and action figures that never made it to market).
