Question
What first step do you recomend for someone with a new action figure concept.  All I have at this point are crude sketches....but a fantastic idea!  I want to retain trademark rights, and have begun preceedings to do so...just looking for any advice you may have.

Thanks,
JPrather

Answer
You can either try to fund this yourself(Expensive, $10,000US to even start), or try to get a company to back you.

Almost all figures are licensed, from a Comic book, movie, etc. So cheaper to start out with making your own comic than going for an action figure.
