 I just bought a 700Mhz, 128MB, 32MB video laptop computer.  I have played Half Life and Quake 2 on my old computer and enjoyed these games very much.  I now want to purchase first person shooters for my new computer.  Could you reccomend, in your opinion, what the best FPS.

you have already played my recomendation for the best in first person shooter...HALFLIFE ! hands down the best and most fun I've had (with a game) unreal and unreal tournament are also fantastic, and the add-on for half life, opposing force kicks serious hiney also!
Quake III is lots of fun but can be a little frustrating for the newer gamers but is an excellent way to get ready for online mayhem.
