About Dennis Fastenow Expertise I have been building high grade gaming systems for about 5 years and have experience with most games of the first person shooter type.
Question I finished Half Life 2 a few weeks ago. I have been playing CS:Source for a while, but I am realy to play another single player FPS again. I thought HL2 was the best game ever. I thought Doom 3 was lame. I am thinking about buying either Far Cry or Call of Duty. Once I finish the single player missions, I would like to play multiplayer. Can you tell me which is better for single player and multiplater....and then which is better overall? Hardware is not an issue. I have a fairly high-end PC for gaming. Thanks!
Answer Call of Duty is an excellent FPS (at least for a single player game) not sure about the multiplayer part as I have had zero time to try this.
Far cry is visually fantastic and great to play online(I have heard) A.I. is not the greatest for a single player game.
I would visit a used game store for both and consider the add on for COD and MOH (another game close to COD)
