What is the "console" and how do I access it?

Hi Jerry

The console is available for advanced players who want to tweak Q3 to their liking.

While the game is running, press "~" (which should be beside your "1" key). The console will drop down and you can type in additional commands. I don't really recommend that you use this until you are more familiar with the game however, because most of the common commands are available through the q3 options menu anyway.
